📋 Description

• Own features end-to-end, from understanding customer pain through design, implementation, release, monitoring, and iteration • Define completion criteria and own reliability, user experience, and measurable impact • Propose and prioritize work based on customer needs • Understand AI spend, including token and model pricing, inference and GPU economics, and usage rollups • Explain feature value to customers and apply product judgment to design decisions • Use AI daily to explore codebases and vendor APIs, prototype, generate and review code, debug, write tests, and produce documentation • Evaluate agentic tooling and determine where AI improves velocity versus where human quality control is required • Design, build, and scale backend services in Go • Build product experiences in TypeScript and React • Transform cost and usage data into clear, fast, and trustworthy interfaces • Build API-first capabilities accessible through APIs for humans and agents • Conduct thoughtful design reviews and establish engineering guardrails • Mentor peers and share knowledge

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including multi-tenant SaaS products, with a track record of owning features or products end-to-end in production • Strong Go for backend services, APIs, data processing, and operational realities of running them • Strong TypeScript and modern React • Ability to own a feature from the data model through to the interface • Experience building on public cloud; GCP preferred, AWS or Azure accepted • Working proficiency in SQL against an analytical store such as BigQuery • Product-oriented thinking • Existing use of AI tools across the engineering workflow • Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural principles • Ability to set direction for others • Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving market • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and tenacious • Knowledge of FinOps and FinOps products is a strong plus • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience is a bonus point, not required • Portfolio of work is a bonus point
