📋 Description

• Lead and further develop the CX Design capability, currently comprising 14 UX/UI designers, both functionally and disciplinarily • Report directly to the Head of Experience • Lead, motivate, and develop UX/UI designers; identify recruiting needs; and foster a continuous learning and knowledge-sharing culture • Manage the designers’ workload and deployment across various customer, product, and capability initiatives • Develop a seamless end-to-end offering together with UX Research & Strategy, integrating research, strategy, UX/UI design, and implementation • Further develop standards, methods, and quality criteria for UX/UI design, ensuring quality from exploration and conception through implementation • Create user-centered, consistent, and on-brand solutions for different Sparkasse contexts • Integrate AI-enabled design processes and develop UX/UI solutions for AI applications and agent-driven touchpoints • Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, developers, and other stakeholders, while providing functional leadership to internal and external partners • Contribute to new business activities, develop CX Design proposals, and represent the capability in pitches and client meetings • Increase the visibility of CX Design services, methods, and achievements both within and outside the organization

🎯 Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in UX/UI design, Customer Experience, or digital product and service design • At least 3 years of experience in the functional and disciplinary leadership and development of design teams, or in a comparable leadership role • Strong expertise in user-centered methods, UX/UI design, responsive design, design systems, usability, and accessibility • Experience in conceptualizing, managing, and ensuring the quality of complex design initiatives from exploration through implementation • Ability to combine user, customer, brand, business, and technology requirements into viable solutions • Familiarity with the opportunities and limitations of AI-supported design processes, along with an interest in new interaction models for AI solutions and agentic systems • Experience in capacity and resource management, as well as in developing or marketing design services, is a plus • Strategic thinking, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to bring together complex issues and diverse interests in a solution-oriented manner
