📋 Description

• Collaborate with Duetti’s A&R team to negotiate and finalize deals with artists and their teams, based on a solid understanding of the music industry and ongoing maintenance of strong client relationships. • End-to-end project management of deals in close coordination with the Head of Sourcing and the Sourcing Operations team to ensure a healthy pipeline through data-driven assessments and creative lead generation. • Participate in key decision-making processes alongside the underwriting and legal teams, ensure completeness and accuracy of all documentation, and support the investment committee during internal reviews and approvals. • Develop innovative solutions to rights-acquisition challenges in close collaboration with the A&R team to meet ambitious timelines. • Build and maintain relationships with artists, managers, and other industry stakeholders. • Support the A&R team in achieving ambitious goals and milestones within a dynamic startup environment. • Track key deal points and conversations using internal tools such as HubSpot, Airtable, and Notion. • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and new technologies in the music-fintech space.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in private equity, investment banking, or a comparable finance or consulting role. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and process complex, unstructured data. • Understanding of the music industry and the ability to navigate complex contract structures confidently. • Ability to assess opportunities and risks and make decisions during negotiations and due-diligence processes. • Ability to quickly interpret legal agreements and summarize them concisely. • Strong attention to detail, high work ethic, and enthusiasm for working in an early-stage startup environment that requires initiative and solution-oriented thinking. • Passion for music and culture and a desire to be at the forefront of new business models for artists. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external cross-functional teams as well as creators. • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
