📋 Description

• Monitor security events and alerts from SIEM, endpoint protection, and network security tools • Analyse and triage security alerts to identify potential threats and incidents • Conduct initial incident response triage and escalate significant security events to senior SOC analysts and the security chapter • Maintain security documentation and incident reports • Build and maintain dashboards to support security monitoring and investigations • Assist in developing, testing, and tuning security detections • Support threat hunting activities and vulnerability assessments • Support SIEM integrations and log pipeline maintenance • Help maintain and tune security monitoring tools • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve security incidents • Contribute to the continuous improvement of security operations processes • Stay informed about emerging threats and attack techniques • Contribute to threat intelligence gathering and analysis • Support internal penetration testing and purple-team exercises

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Solid understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and common attack vectors • Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and network monitoring solutions • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities • Standard background checks are conducted as part of the hiring process • Practical exposure to detection engineering and rule maintenance • Understanding of incident response frameworks • Familiarity with log analysis and security tooling
