📋 Description

• Review draft curriculum alignments and verify that existing lessons cover relevant curriculum content descriptors • Check that lessons within each topic follow a logical progression • Review recommended adaptations and update existing lessons and assessment questions to address curriculum gaps and improve alignment • Identify areas requiring improvement and provide feedback to ensure content meets curriculum expectations • Manage time and work independently using Google Docs, Google Sheets and the Education Perfect platform • Contribute curriculum expertise to an education platform used by teachers and students

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Western Australian Science teacher • Strong understanding of the Western Australian Years 7–10 Science curriculum • Experience reviewing curriculum alignment and mapping educational content to curriculum descriptors • Ability to evaluate lesson sequences and identify opportunities to improve learning progression • Experience reviewing and editing educational content and assessments to address curriculum gaps • Strong attention to detail • Ability to provide practical recommendations to improve content quality • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with Google Docs, Google Sheets and digital learning platforms, or experience working with Education Perfect • Excellent time-management skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Resume and brief cover letter outlining relevant teaching experience, curriculum expertise and suitability for the project
