📋 Description

• Develop technical proposals and strengthen client relationships through business development • Develop new lines of service delivery by leveraging complementary skills and expertise with the national EHS Support/AES team • Assist in capacity-building and development of a high-performing national compliance and approvals team • Lead environmental impact assessments and complex approvals processes • Manage projects within scope, budget, and quality standards • Mentor junior and mid-level consultants in environmental approvals and compliance • Foster collaboration within AES and EHS Support multidisciplinary teams • Serve as a focal point for Queensland-based clients and projects • Deliver approvals and compliance projects nationwide • Work closely with senior leadership to support the organisation's primary and secondary approvals strategy • Primarily office-based work with occasional travel for field-based work

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in a science, engineering or legal discipline • 15+ years of experience in Queensland and Commonwealth environmental approvals, including primary and secondary approvals • Strong understanding of Commonwealth and State environmental legislation • Proven ability to build and sustain client relationships • Experience within resources sectors preferred • Strong written, verbal, and strategic thinking skills • Great eye for detail and a practical approach to legislative and technical interpretation • Ability to find pragmatic solutions • Authorisation to work in Australia • Applications open to Australian and New Zealand Citizens and Australian Permanent Residents
