📋 Description

• Undertaking preliminary and detailed contaminated land assessments, preparing PSI and DSI Assessment Reports, site management plans and remediation action plans • Initiation, planning, leading and executing complex contaminated land/waste projects, including soil, vapour, surface water, wastewater and groundwater assessments • Providing mentoring and technical oversight to the contaminated land/waste team • Engaging with clients and other disciplinary teams to determine innovative solutions to complex environmental problems

🎯 Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology • 8+ years’ experience in contaminated land and remediation projects. • Experience in contaminated land assessments with exposure to a wide range of environmental and engineering situations • Demonstrated experience in site supervision, managing site investigations and various sampling methods including soil and groundwater. • Strong communication, well developed report writing, and project management skills. • A focus on safety and environmental responsibility. • Knowledge of NEPM as well as health & safety best practice principles • Strong knowledge of WA environmental legislation • The candidate must have a great eye for detail, a sense of practicality in regard to legislative and technical interpretation, and the ability to find pragmatic solutions.
