📋 Description

• Lead the S2P Contracting COE and implement Global Procurement’s contracting strategy • Report to the Sr. Director, S2P COE • Manage and develop Contract Managers supporting Global Procurement • Own the Master Procurement Template contract inventory • Own Procurement’s Contract Lifecycle Management processes and contract knowledge management • Partner with Lilly Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Corporate Risk Management, Tax, and Import/Export to manage risk • Maintain negotiation playbooks and templates in response to new laws and regulations • Ensure CLM AI Redline Models reflect MPT inventory changes • Provide contracting subject matter expertise to S2P COE colleagues • Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the S2P Contracting COE team • Manage and forecast team resource needs • Oversee changes to MPT clauses, templates, and playbook guidance • Manage specialty contract amendment projects • Represent MPT standards and negotiation playbook in audits • Analyze negotiated terms and recommend MPT updates • Build CLM and MPT training with S2P Learning & Development • Create onboarding and training resources • Oversee MPT content on the Supplier Resources Portal • Define and implement shared CLM program strategy across Procurement, IBU Procurement, and Lilly Legal • Track budgets, timelines, risks, SLAs, KPIs, and contract terms • Lead CLM discovery, requirements elicitation, process mapping, and reporting definition • Guide the CLM vendor on requirements, development, contract migration, integrations, and validation testing • Manage vendor performance, security, and compliance • Benchmark CLM practices and recommend innovation opportunities • Lead project teams as the contracting subject matter expert • Drive procurement contracting transformation and CLM technology adoption • Accelerate contract delivery and enable self-service contracting within acceptable risk profiles

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA degree in a related discipline, such as Legal, business, or project management • Significant experience in people management • Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills • Effective coaching and feedback skills • Ability to manage and resolve conflict • Strong leadership and influence skills • Strategic mindset with ability to define strategy and drive implementation • Minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience demonstrating contract drafting, contract negotiation, and/or legal experience • Proven experience with global project implementations • Problem solving, critical thinking, and decision making • Ability to author and negotiate complex MSAs in a highly regulated environment • Ability to network and influence across management levels and organizations • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects • Procurement/professional sourcing experience • CLM technology experience • MBA listed as an additional skill/experience
