📋 Description

• Independently develop clinical databases in Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems for clinical research projects. • Act as Lead Database Developer and primary point of contact for allocated studies. • Participate in kick-off meetings, review protocols, and plan database development. • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to determine study requirements, deliverables, and timelines. • Build eCRF screens according to protocol schedules of events. • Program advanced edit checks, custom functions, dynamics, rules, and alerts according to Edit Check Specifications. • Set up Randomization and Trial Supply Management (RTSM), Coding, Data Migrator, and other required functionalities. • Contribute to Database Specifications, Edit Check Specifications, Non-CRF Data Specifications, and RTSM specifications/guidelines. • Make study databases live on time and to stakeholder satisfaction. • Perform user and site management and maintain active user lists. • Develop reports for cross-functional teams and sites. • Perform impact analysis and implement Mid Study Updates. • Contribute to external data integration. • Perform interim and final database locks in consultation with relevant stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Technical/Clinical Research or a related field. • Experience with a minimum of three EDC tools, such as RAVE, Merative Zelta, Medrio, Oracle Clinical, or other web-based data capture tools is preferable. • Minimum 10 years of database development experience demonstrating strong technical skills, including three years as a lead database developer. • 4–5 years of experience in Custom Functions is mandatory. • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the CRO/Pharma environment and 5 years as a Database Developer. • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory guidelines, especially related to data handling and processing. • Ability to evaluate and recommend changes to existing processes and procedures for greater effectiveness. • Excellent technical skills with EDC systems. • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. • Efficient communication skills. • Ability to quickly learn and work with new EDC tools when necessary.
