📋 Description

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements • Translate business needs into structured user stories with detailed acceptance criteria • Create technical requirements for UI components, workflows, validations, user interactions, API functionality, data mappings, business rules, and integrations • Develop process flows, use cases, data mappings, and system documentation • Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and traceable through the development lifecycle • Facilitate story grooming with engineers and QAs • Review completed work against documented requirements • Collaborate with QA on test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases • Execute functional, integration, and regression testing as needed • Validate UI behavior, data flows, and API responses • Perform data validation and basic SQL query analysis • Support UAT by preparing test scenarios and assisting business users

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a hybrid BA/QA role • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for UI and API development • Hands-on experience writing and executing test cases • Strong understanding of REST APIs, data flows, and system integrations • Working knowledge of SQL and ability to validate and analyze data • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and requirements documentation tools • Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills • Excellent attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience in financial services or other regulated environments preferred • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred • Comfort working closely with developers while maintaining an independent validation perspective • Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams • Proactive approach to identifying requirement gaps and edge cases
