📋 Description

• Act as a strategic partner throughout the product development lifecycle, from initial concept to launch and beyond • Identify legal and regulatory hurdles and design pragmatic solutions balancing business objectives with risk mitigation • Translate complex legal risks into clear, business-oriented guidance • Develop and implement compliance strategy for emerging technologies, including AI, big data, and online advertising • Ensure compliance with regulations including the DSA and DMA • Advise on global data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA, and promote privacy-by-design principles • Improve legal processes and documentation across the EU, UK, US, and SEA • Own legal domains including brand protection, consumer dispute resolution, and advertising standards • Lead cross-functional legal and compliance initiatives and secure stakeholder buy-in • Collaborate with external lawyers on complex legal questions and business opportunities • Serve as the primary legal point of contact for all business units and partner with Product, Commerce, and Marketing

🎯 Requirements

• A Master’s Degree or equivalent in Law • 5+ years experience at a top law firm/in-house • Strong preference for experience in fast-paced tech/e-commerce/media/gaming sectors or related industries • Strong tech-law expertise, including intellectual property, data protection, consumer protection, and platform regulation • Track record of breaking down complex, ambiguous problems into actionable deliverables • Comfortable making fast, business-oriented decisions with incomplete information • Ability to understand the root of a challenge • Ability to translate legal risks into practical business advice • Ability to build strong relationships and navigate diverse stakeholder groups • Exceptional time management, task ownership, and prioritization competencies • CV must be submitted in English
