📋 Description

• Own the platform roadmap and decide what goes into each release • Set release scope, sequence work, and maintain a single prioritised platform backlog • Define core player-facing features for discovery, launching, playing, and sharing games • Shape social features including voice, spectating, and virality • Define accounts, profiles, billing, and core systems for a consumer platform at scale • Address cloud saves, trials, DRM, and other games-specific features • Define the playing experience across devices, including mobile web • Help define developer and publisher tools for publishing, managing, and understanding games • Own platform governance requirements for age verification, ratings, GDPR, privacy, accessibility, security, and payment-provider rules • Own billing and payments as a platform capability • Work with the CTO and VP Engineering on quality, performance, and reliability targets • Collaborate daily with engineers and designers to shape features, solve problems, and make decisions • Define success measures for features and use data, player feedback, developer feedback, and testing to iterate • Communicate plans and progress to the wider team and leadership through monthly updates and ad hoc reports for senior leadership and investors

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years' product management experience in games or gaming platforms • Recent work on modern, player-facing products • Track record of shipping platform or core features for players, developers, or both, and improving them based on results • Experience working closely with engineering teams as part of the team, not handing over specs • Working grasp of platform governance, including privacy, age verification, payments, or similar regulated areas • Good judgement on process and documentation • Confidence using data to make product decisions, including setting success measures and reading player behaviour • Current, first-hand understanding of how people play and discover games today • Understanding of where players spend their time: Discord, Reddit, Twitch, TikTok, and YouTube • Understanding of how players aged 16 to 60 engage with games and games content • Understanding of how AI is changing how games are made, found, and played • Clear communication and ability to keep a small team aligned on goals and priorities • Based in the UK or Ireland • Right to work in the UK or Ireland
