📋 Description
• Conduct live online Carnatic music sessions (individual & group) • Teach basics (Shruti, Swaras, Alankaras, Geethams) and progress to advanced levels • Prepare students for assessments, events, and performances • Provide timely feedback and track learner progress • Create a positive and interactive learning environment • Coordinate with parents and the internal team regarding student updates
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music with specialization in Carnatic Music (Vocal or Instrumental). • Certification or formal training from a recognized Carnatic music institution or guru is preferred. • 2+ years of experience teaching Carnatic Music to children and/or adults (online or offline). • Strong foundation in Carnatic Music theory and practical (Shruti, Swaras, Alankaras, Geethams, Varnams, Kritis, etc.). • Ability to structure lessons for beginner to advanced levels. • Excellent communication and presentation skills for virtual classes. • Ability to keep students engaged and motivated during online sessions. • Experience in preparing students for performances, assessments, and competitions is a plus. • Stable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional home studio setup. • Good quality microphone/headset and webcam for clear audio and video. • Familiarity with Zoom and other online teaching platforms. • Ability to use virtual whiteboards, share notations, and integrate digital teaching aids effectively.
