📋 Description
• Plan and deliver math lessons based on the US Common Core curriculum for primary grades (K-5). • Teach fundamental concepts such as numbers, operations, geometry, measurement, data analysis, and problem-solving. • Use age-appropriate and interactive teaching methods to create an engaging virtual learning experience. • Incorporate games, visual aids, and digital tools to make math fun and relatable for young learners. • Create a positive and encouraging online classroom environment that fosters active participation. • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and identify areas for improvement. • Manage virtual classrooms effectively using platforms like Zoom, Google Classroom, or other LMS tools.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field; a teaching certification is preferred. • Minimum of 2 years teaching elementary-level math, preferably in an online environment. • Strong knowledge of primary math concepts and teaching strategies tailored to young learners. • Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective virtual teaching. • Proficiency in EdTech tools and platforms to create engaging and interactive lessons. • Patience, creativity, and adaptability to support diverse learning needs. • A reliable internet connection, a computer with a webcam and microphone, and familiarity with virtual classroom tools.
