âą Provide essential administrative support to U.S.-based medical practices by managing patient records âą Verify insurance eligibility âą Coordinate prior authorizations âą Support prescription workflows âą Maintain provider credentialing documentation âą Ensure the accuracy and compliance of medical records âą Assist with medical documentation and record management âą Process prescription refill requests âą Coordinate with pharmacies regarding medication requests and prescription issues âą Help with medication prior authorizations including submission, follow-up, status tracking, and denial management âą Monitor prescription statuses to ensure timely patient care âą Assist with both medical/procedure and pharmacy prior authorizations âą Gather and submit required clinical documentation âą Follow up with insurance companies regarding authorization decisions âą Track pending authorizations, denials, appeals, and additional documentation requests âą Assist with provider enrollment for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans âą Maintain provider profiles within CAQH and credentialing platforms âą Track credentialing application progress and provider enrollment status âą Monitor provider licenses, DEA registrations, malpractice insurance, and credential expiration dates âą Coordinate with providers, insurance companies, and patients âą Support daily administrative workflows and office operations âą Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive patient information
âą At least 1 year of experience in Medical Administration, Medical Reception, Medical Virtual Assistance, Medical Records, Prior Authorizations, Credentialing, or a similar healthcare support role âą Advanced bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) âą Experience with insurance eligibility verification and benefits âą Experience working with EMR/EHR systems âą Strong knowledge of medical documentation and healthcare administrative workflows âą Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills âą Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment âą Strong written and verbal communication skills âą Ability to maintain strict confidentiality while handling protected health information (PHI)
