📋 Description

• Define the technical roadmap for computer vision projects, aligning with business goals and customer needs • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers • Design and develop computer vision models and algorithms for item authentication, fingerprinting, high-quality image capture, and related applications • Introduce novel computer vision and machine learning techniques to improve model performance and scalability • Oversee production deployment of machine learning models • Optimise algorithms for edge-device latency, accuracy, and power consumption • Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand product requirements, define project scopes, and deliver solutions • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate computer vision models into broader system architectures • Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation • Review and refine code for modularity, reliability, and industry-standard compliance • Analyse production data to identify continuous-improvement opportunities • Contribute to thought leadership in computer vision

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Electronics, Physics, Computer Science, or related field • 3-6 years in computer vision and machine learning development • Proficiency in traditional computer vision techniques, including feature extraction and image processing • Deep learning expertise • Advanced knowledge of Python and C++ • Expertise with PyTorch, HuggingFace, OpenCV, and CUDA • Experience designing, training, and deploying computer vision models at scale • Experience with distributed training and inference pipelines • Expertise in API design and deployment for ML model services such as FastAPI, TensorRT, Nvidia Triton, and Ray • Strong foundation in probability, statistics, optimisation, linear algebra, and geometry • Experience deploying and optimising models for iOS devices, including real-time data processing and resource efficiency • Ability to articulate technical concepts and collaborate in cross-functional, global teams • Proactive approach, high degree of ownership, and eagerness to tackle complex challenges
