📋 Description

• Analyse and assess public R&D&I funding opportunities, including EU funding programmes (Horizon Europe, LIFE, and national programmes), and develop tailored funding strategies for clients • Design and manage energy-efficiency projects from conception through implementation, including energy audits, feasibility studies, and performance assessments • Develop circular-economy strategies and roadmaps for companies, identifying opportunities for resource optimisation and waste reduction • Provide technical consulting services to clients and translate complex regulatory requirements and sustainability frameworks into actionable business strategies • Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, reports, and documentation for funding applications and project deliverables • Engage and coordinate stakeholders from client organisations, public authorities, and project partners • Monitor regulatory changes and emerging trends in energy efficiency and the circular economy • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Paris, Barcelona, and Madrid • Analyse project data and performance metrics to assess outcomes and optimise future initiatives • Support business-development activities by identifying new market opportunities and potential client relationships

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in public R&D&I funding administration, energy-efficiency consulting, or circular-economy project development • Demonstrated expertise in public funding mechanisms operated by EU and/or national authorities, as well as grant-management processes • Strong technical knowledge of energy-efficiency standards, regulations, and implementation methods • Solid understanding of circular-economy principles, frameworks, and business-model innovation • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical and financial data • Proficiency in project-management methodologies and tools • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation and proposals • Experience in stakeholder management and client-facing consulting roles • Knowledge of relevant sustainability regulations and compliance requirements • Experience with specific EU funding programmes such as Horizon Europe, LIFE, or regional innovation programmes • Familiarity with energy-auditing methodologies and life-cycle assessment (LCA) tools • Background in environmental impact assessments or sustainability certification systems • Previous experience in or with the Barcelona and/or Madrid markets • Multilingualism (Spanish, French, or other European languages) • Experience in business development or proposal writing for consulting services • Knowledge of digital tools for project tracking and data analysis • Professional certifications in energy management, sustainability, or related fields
