📋 Description

• Own paid acquisition strategy and performance across Meta, Google, TikTok, and AppLovin • Manage $3–5M in monthly paid media spend • Set strategy, adjust budgets, direct junior media buyers, and ensure efficient scaling • Own CAC, MER, blended contribution margin, spend planning, budget allocation, scaling decisions, forecasting, and forecast attainment • Lead Meta account structure, campaign architecture, audience and placement strategy, and testing framework • Drive Google, TikTok, and AppLovin diversification and incremental-volume strategy • Direct junior media buyers, set priorities, review work, maintain launch quality, and develop the team • Build SOPs, QA checks, and onboarding processes • Create and maintain a documented testing calendar with hypotheses, sample sizes, read windows, and kill criteria • Partner with creative teams on briefs, performance feedback, and creative priorities • Partner with web and retention teams on offer, landing-page, and funnel testing • Own attribution and develop a defensible view of incrementality using third-party measurement and platform reporting • Produce trusted founder-facing performance reports • Audit accounts, spend efficiency, and measurement; deliver a written diagnosis of the three biggest efficiency leaks within the first 30 days • Take over day-to-day media buying through the role and team, launch a documented testing cadence, and run weekly performance reviews within the first 90 days

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, or customer acquisition • Personally managed $1M+ per month in paid media spend • Deep, hands-on Meta expertise • Direct experience across Google, TikTok, and AppLovin • Fluency in CAC, MER, AOV, LTV, and contribution margin; able to build the model • Experience with third-party attribution and skepticism about platform-reported numbers • Experience managing media buyers and building systems to improve their performance • Strong plus: beauty, skincare, or supplements experience • Strong plus: experience selling to women 45+ or in categories where trust and efficacy proof matter • Strong plus: AppLovin or other emerging channels taken from zero to scale • Strong plus: Amazon Ads experience • Strong plus: experience in a founder-led business • Ability to move quickly and decide with incomplete information • Willingness to challenge ineffective campaigns and communicate directly with founders • Desire for ownership rather than narrowly scoped execution
