📋 Description

• Design and improve user journeys, interfaces, and interaction flows using user-centered design principles • Integrate usability and accessibility requirements into design and development processes • Conduct user research, usability testing, and accessibility assessments • Recommend usability and accessibility improvements • Prepare wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications for web and mobile applications • Collaborate with developers and project stakeholders • Communicate with German-speaking stakeholders about usability and accessibility topics

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in UX/UI Design, Human–Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience • Experience in UX/UI design, application and usability testing, and usability and accessibility evaluation • Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and BITV 2.0 • Knowledge of ergonomic principles ISO 9241-110 and ISO 9241-210 • Knowledge of inclusive design for visual, hearing, motor, cognitive, and learning disabilities • Knowledge of assistive technologies • Familiarity with Angular and Bootstrap • Familiarity with HTML structure and semantics, CSS, and ARIA • Familiarity with Figma • Familiarity with Google Lighthouse • Familiarity with NVDA or JAWS screen readers • Fluency in German • Good command of English • Knowledge of EN 301 549, the European Accessibility Act, and accessibility evaluation methodologies is an advantage
