📋 Description

• Own end-to-end architecture and delivery of complex backend and platform solutions. • Design, build, and operate distributed systems using modern engineering practices and cloud-native technologies. • Drive technical leadership through architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices. • Collaborate closely with global stakeholders, including North America and KL DataHub teams. • Lead incident resolution, postmortems, and continuous improvement of reliability and observability. • Promote high standards in testing and CI/CD pipelines. • Mentor and support engineers, strengthening technical skills and fostering knowledge sharing. • Ensure security-by-design principles and proactively address vulnerabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in backend engineering, distributed systems, or platform engineering. • Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and distributed systems fundamentals. • Strong knowledge of system design, performance, scalability, and reliability. • Hands-on experience with AWS and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS or ECS). • Solid experience with testing practices (unit, integration, acceptance automation) and CI/CD pipelines. • Familiarity with OpenAPI, Jenkins, SonarQube, and security scanning tools. • Experience with event-driven or data streaming patterns (e.g., Kafka). • Strong software engineering fundamentals and security awareness. • Ability to provide technical leadership.
