📋 Description

• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and application support • Work with solution architects and developers to translate wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements and technical designs • Apply clean code principles and Test Driven Development • Collaborate regularly with international team members • Work closely with the Technical Team Lead and Senior Developers and respond to their guidance and support • Attend and contribute to sprint ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives • Understand UMG’s complex business domain and existing code-based solutions • Ensure user-story acceptance criteria are met and limit QA failures • Produce high-quality code using Test Driven Development • Work with new architectures, cloud-based infrastructures, microservices, and modern ways of working • Diagnose issues using debugging, logging, and tools such as NewRelic • Work with business users to identify and resolve production issues

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent professional experience of C# and the .NET Core ecosystem • Professional experience with React and test frameworks such as Jest • Experience using containerised systems, with some experience with ECS or Kubernetes • Experience writing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Tekton, or similar • Professional experience using JavaScript and TypeScript • Experience with message-based architecture (SNS/SQS or similar) • Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases; Postgres and JSON data type preferred • Test Driven Development • Understanding of design patterns and principles such as SOLID and GO4 (desirable) • Experience working in an Agile-based project delivery environment • Ability to refactor code • Ability to work in a complex and fast-moving domain • Continuous Integration • Familiarity with other data stores, including cloud-based managed offerings • AWS Cloud or similar such as Azure • Experience building React components based around Bootstrap • Ability and willingness to work with a remote team with minimal cross-over • Ability to self-learn and motivation to understand code written by others • Ability to work with business users to identify and resolve production issues • Must be able to work on LA time zone • Preferred location: Brazil or Portugal
