📋 Description

• Define and drive the vision, roadmap, and success metrics for an internal developer product • Gather developer feedback, prioritize by impact, and track adoption • Design, build, and maintain integrations between open-source tools and the Internal Developer Platform in Go • Create internal tools, CLIs, services, and automation for service scaffolding, environment provisioning, deployments, and day-2 operations • Lead and mentor a team of developers within SRE, setting technical direction, standards, and priorities • Make the platform and tools observable and resilient, improving incident response and visibility into production services • Drive best practices in code quality, testing, documentation, and system design • Partner with product engineering and leadership to align platform work with business priorities

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with time at a Staff level or in a technical leadership role • Strong, hands-on experience building production systems in Go • Deep experience designing, deploying, and running containerized applications on Kubernetes • Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform services and cloud-native architecture • Proven track record of leading and mentoring developers, through architectural guidance, code reviews, and setting technical direction • Strong knowledge of distributed systems, system design, and reliability • Ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly and drive alignment across teams • Experience with Python, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform), and fintech or high-scale, regulated environments is a plus • Equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered
