📋 Description

• Build and further develop products for digital investment and trading experiences • Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team with a focus on ownership, agile collaboration, and self-organized work • Drive the technical development of the Neo Broker and the portal in collaboration with Product, Design, and other stakeholders • Apply your experience in brokerage and investment to technical and business decisions • Work closely with product teams to deliver new features and user experiences across the entire investment journey • Promote technical excellence through architecture, code reviews, best practices, and continuous improvement • Establish efficient development processes and ensure high software quality • Actively support recruiting processes and help grow the engineering team • Take end-to-end responsibility for developing business functionality within a cross-functional team, through to production ownership

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience developing and operating cloud-based web applications, ideally on AWS • Very strong hands-on knowledge of Java, REST APIs, and modern SPA frameworks such as Angular • Experience with the functional and disciplinary leadership of engineering teams • Practical experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence • Analytical and strategic thinking, combined with a structured and solution-oriented approach • High level of initiative, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for collaborative work • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Informatics, or a comparable qualification • Deep understanding of brokerage products, securities trading, and investment processes; experience in the neo-broker environment • Passion for technology, digital products, and modern investment experiences • Excellent German and English language skills
