📋 Description

• Build and evolve robust, scalable financial infrastructure for Finom’s all-in-one B2B financial platform • Work within a domain team owning and evolving a shared product area • Collaborate with Backend, Frontend, Mobile, ML/AI, and QA engineers • Understand product, user, and business needs and challenge assumptions when appropriate • Discuss trade-offs with product managers and explain technical constraints to business stakeholders • Collaborate with frontend and mobile engineers on end-to-end solutions • Take ownership of technical outcomes and proactively identify opportunities for improvement • Respond to customer issues and improve team processes • Mentor colleagues and explore adjacent domains such as frontend, ML models, and analytics • Apply automated testing, code reviews, and security best practices • Participate in the recruitment process, including technical, system design, and team fit interviews

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional backend development with a product engineering mindset • Excellent knowledge of the .NET platform and C# • Hands-on experience architecting and evolving distributed systems in production • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and engineers from other disciplines • Strong business acumen and understanding of how work connects to company objectives • Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences • Product-builder mentality focused on shipping great products • Deep expertise in maintainable, scalable code and distributed architectures • Experience building data-intensive applications • Understanding of working in a regulated environment • Experience with automated testing, thorough code reviews, and security best practices • Backend technologies: PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Kubernetes, and GCP • Work authorization/location aligned with Bulgaria and/or Europe
