📋 Description

• Build robust, scalable financial infrastructure for Finom's all-in-one financial B2B platform • Own and evolve a shared product area within a domain team • Ship product features that deliver value to hundreds of thousands of businesses across Europe • Understand customer, product, and business needs behind technical work • Challenge assumptions and proactively identify opportunities for better outcomes • Discuss trade-offs with product managers and explain technical constraints to business stakeholders • Collaborate with frontend and mobile engineers on elegant end-to-end solutions • Apply .NET and C# expertise to maintainable, scalable code and distributed architectures • Take ownership of outcomes, including responding to customer issues and improving team processes • Mentor colleagues and explore adjacent domains such as frontend, ML models, and analytics • Use automated testing, thorough code reviews, and security best practices • Participate in the recruitment process, including technical interviews and team-fit interviews

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional backend development with a product engineering mindset • Excellent knowledge of .NET platform and C# • Hands-on experience architecting and evolving distributed systems in production • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and engineers from other disciplines • Strong business acumen and understanding of how work connects to company objectives • Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences • Builder's mentality and focus on shipping great products • Experience with data-intensive applications • Understanding of working in a regulated environment • Commitment to automated testing, thorough code reviews, and security best practices • Backend technology experience with .NET/C#, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Kubernetes, and GCP • Willingness or ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
