📋 Description

• Own daily reconciliation monitoring, checking bank cash against client balances and investigating breaks or mismatches • Resolve reconciliation breaks end-to-end with engineering, banks, and third-party payment providers • Maintain reporting and support month-end close, vendor reporting, and regulatory reporting • Use Excel and data visualization tools to monitor and track reconciliation data • Contribute to automating manual reconciliation processes using AI and other tools • Handle occasional manual money transfers • Manage stakeholders across engineering, treasury, and external banking partners • Cover maternity leave on a fixed-term basis

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience in reconciliation, payment operations, or treasury operations • Experience as a reconciliation specialist, payment analyst, or accountant with reconciliation exposure • Comfortable with Excel • Experience with data visualization/BI tools such as Databricks, Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or similar • Working understanding of payment schemes and how money moves between banks and internal systems • Diligent and detail-oriented, especially when handling money movements • Ability to adapt in fast-paced, frequently changing environments • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with internal teams and external partners • Able to start immediately or on very short notice • Open to a fixed-term contract of approximately 5 months • Experience at a neobank or fintech preferred • Mathematical or quantitative background preferred • Prior experience building or improving reconciliation or payments workflow automations preferred • Basic SQL or data analysis skills preferred
