📋 Description

• Assess and evaluate complex procurement strategies and initiatives • Coach and guide procurement professionals • Define advanced contract management processes • Conduct complex analyses and recommend procedural improvements • Develop complex procurement strategies integrating business, project management, and legal knowledge • Establish and implement processes for efficient and effective contract management • Improve stakeholder relationships within and outside the organization • Forecast industry trends • Conduct interviews and select external partners • Direct procurement-function individuals, delegate work, and review work products • Establish and implement a culture of continuous improvement in procurement • Address complex issues independently and guide decisions through analysis and judgment • Communicate regularly with customers and vendors • Implement systems, processes, or products to improve performance

• Moderate-level of experience in a related field • Advanced education or specialized knowledge • Ability to operate with limited supervision • Ability to provide guidance and training to others • Knowledge of procurement, contract management, project management, and law • Ability to conduct complex analyses and recommend procedural improvements • Ability to develop complex procurement strategies • Ability to ensure compliance and quality in procurement processes • Ability to manage projects and processes with significant departmental impact
