âą Oversee payroll time logs, time corrections, tax adjustments and all other electronic paper or interfaces related to the companyâs ongoing payroll processes. âą Ensure payroll is closed accurately by performing all data collection, reconciliation, and application of payroll policies for area of responsibility. âą Communicate with all levels of the organization effectively by responding in a timely manner and providing friendly customer service. âą Document and maintain payroll procedures. âą Review and continually improve payroll processing with the key objective to simplify, standardize and build capacity on the team. âą Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports on an as needed basis. âą Ensure exceptional service and meet all service level requirements for payroll. âą Address issues and provide resolution when service level requirements are not accomplished. âą Ensure compliance with existing controls including SOX compliance, internal audit, Flowserve policies, payroll procedures, and country, state or city laws. âą Review and audit all hours, earnings, deductions, manual checks, and special actions prior to each payroll processing. âą Provide strong support to our employees by providing answers that are compliant with payroll laws and union agreements. âą Ensure data integrity in the payroll system and systems that impact payroll. âą Perform special projects at the request of as necessary. Other duties as assigned.
âą Must possess strong knowledge of payroll processes as it relates to regional payroll. âą Must have a good working knowledge of payroll, payroll tax and HR laws and regulations. âą Must possess an attention to detail and accuracy as it relates to payroll auditing. âą Must have strong ethical standards and ability to work with confidential data. âą Familiarity with Kronos time and attendance system. âą Relationship building with Region HR, payroll staff, technical team, other HR teams and business leaders to ensure consistent quality service delivery. âą Possess strong customer service focus and understand proper customer relationship practices. âą Excellent English communication skills both oral and written and ability to communicate with all levels in the organization. âą Strong escalation skills with the ability to own, de-escalate, determine root cause, and implement risk avoidance improvements. âą Ability to run and create reports. âą Be comfortable with technology and possess excellent Excel skills. âą BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience
