📋 Description

• Review season storylines and individual episode screenplays • Evaluate storytelling, emotional impact, character motivations, hooks, and cliffhangers • Approve scripts or provide specific, actionable feedback to screenwriters • Establish visual styles and creative standards for each series • Guide AI video creators on cinematography, framing, character performance, lighting, and emotional delivery • Review generated footage and identify scenes or shots needing improvement • Maintain visual consistency and quality across episodes • Review episode edits for pacing, tension, emotional impact, music, sound design, and visual storytelling • Give prioritized feedback to editors • Approve final episodes before release • Ensure finished videos deliver the intended emotional experience • Work with multiple AI video creators and editors • Improve production speed without sacrificing creative quality • Identify recurring production problems and improve workflows • Use audience feedback and retention data to improve future episodes

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in directing or filmmaking, ideally film, television, serialized drama, or narrative short-form video • Understanding of AI filmmaking and AI video generation capabilities and limitations • Strong cinematic judgment • Exceptional storytelling instincts • Strong attention to detail • Clear communication skills • Pragmatic approach to creative decisions • Comfortable with fast-paced production and making strong creative decisions quickly • Excellent English communication skills • Experience directing drama, romance, thrillers, soap operas, or telenovelas is a plus • Familiarity with ReelShort, DramaBox, or other vertical drama platforms is a plus • Experience with AI filmmaking tools such as Kling, Runway, Seedance, or similar is a plus • Experience leading creative production teams is a plus • Understanding of audience retention and performance-driven storytelling is a plus • Availability for at least 5 hours during typical EET working hours for full-time roles • Ability to work on a contract/freelance or B2B basis with valid self-employment documentation
