📋 Description

• Serve as primary operational and account servicing support for one or more Risk Advisors • Prepare, review, and process commercial insurance submissions, quotations, proposals, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes • Coordinate with insurance carriers and underwriters on new business, renewals, policy revisions, subjectivities, and outstanding requirements • Support placement and servicing of General Liability, Property, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, Umbrella, and other commercial policies • Prepare, review, and issue Certificates of Insurance, endorsements, evidence of coverage, and other policy documentation • Review policies for accuracy and completeness against client requirements • Gather, organize, and validate client information for submissions, applications, renewals, and carrier requests • Maintain records in insurance management systems, CRMs, and carrier portals • Manage and monitor billing-related items with clients and carriers, escalating discrepancies • Track policy requirements, carrier subjectivities, compliance items, and renewal timelines • Draft and send communications to clients, carriers, and underwriters on behalf of Risk Advisors • Conduct quality reviews of junior assistants' or support staff's work when applicable • Identify workflow, documentation, and operational efficiency improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience servicing U.S. commercial insurance accounts • Proven experience working directly with insurance carriers and underwriters on commercial lines business • Experience supporting manually underwritten commercial policies, including submissions, follow-ups, negotiations, and revisions • Strong knowledge of General Liability (GL), Commercial Property, Workers' Compensation (WC), Commercial Auto, and Umbrella/Excess Liability • Experience handling renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance (COIs), policy checking, and account servicing activities • Advanced understanding of insurance terminology, policy documentation, and commercial insurance workflows • Hands-on experience with insurance management systems and agency management platforms (AMS) • Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients, carriers, and underwriters • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • Working 5 days a week, including one weekend day, with 2 consecutive days off • Availability to work 9am–6pm EST • Preferred: experience supporting U.S.-based insurance brokerages or agencies • Preferred: experience with Applied Epic, AMS360, Vertafore, EZLynx, HawkSoft, or similar insurance systems • Preferred: experience reviewing policy documentation and identifying discrepancies prior to issuance • Preferred: leadership experience providing guidance, training, or quality oversight to junior team members • Preferred: experience with Front or similar shared inbox/customer communication platforms
