📋 Description

• Build enterprise-level WordPress features, including custom Gutenberg blocks in React.js, plugins, and themes using modern HTML/CSS and PHP • Own tickets end-to-end, from understanding requirements through implementation and delivery of reviewable pull requests • Translate Figma designs and project requirements into polished, responsive features and reusable WordPress components • Use AI tools to accelerate implementation and debugging while validating outputs before pull requests • Incorporate code review feedback from senior and lead engineers • Collaborate proactively and asynchronously in English with distributed engineering, design, and delivery teams • Ship merged, production-ready pull requests on live client projects • Independently own tickets from requirements through release • Deliver enterprise-grade work for platforms serving millions of visitors

🎯 Requirements

• Solid agency or consultancy experience building WordPress solutions for large-scale, enterprise projects • Experience with high-traffic sites, demanding clients, and real deadlines • Experience across HTML, CSS, modern PHP, JavaScript, and the Gutenberg ecosystem • Experience building custom Gutenberg blocks with React.js • Familiarity with AI tools and ability to critically validate their output • Clear written and spoken English communication • Ability to explain technical decisions, assumptions, and tradeoffs • Based in Latin America • Ability to collaborate in real time with US time zones • Comfort working on distributed teams • Experience with ElasticPress or ClassifAI is a bonus
