📋 Description

• Define and maintain end-to-end SAP Analytics Cloud solution architecture aligned with business requirements and enterprise IT standards • Lead design of SAC planning models, including dimensions, measures, hierarchies, calculations, and data structures • Architect scalable planning and forecasting solutions with allocations, simulations, version management, and advanced planning functionality • Design integration architecture between SAC and SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and other enterprise data sources • Establish architectural guidelines, data modeling standards, and development best practices for SAC implementations • Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to translate complex planning requirements into technical solutions • Provide architectural guidance and technical oversight to SAC front-end and back-end development teams • Review solution designs, identify technical risks, and recommend performance, reliability, and scalability improvements • Support solution testing, deployment planning, technical documentation, and continuous optimization of SAC planning capabilities • Lead workstreams at the client side and potentially large projects in the future • Travel to Yamagata when requested by the client • Work with global clients and cross-border teams, bridging English-speaking business and potentially Japanese-speaking local operations

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), particularly solution architecture, planning model design, and enterprise analytics • Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end SAC Planning solutions in complex SAP environments • Strong knowledge of SAC planning models, advanced formulas, data actions, multi-actions, allocations, and version management • Solid understanding of SAC architecture, data connectivity, integration patterns, and performance optimization • Experience integrating SAC with SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, or other enterprise data platforms • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis • Experience defining technical architecture standards, solution design principles, and data modeling best practices • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architecture and guide development teams • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Experience working across business and IT teams • Role based in Tokyo, Japan, with ability to travel to Yamagata upon client request • Ability to bridge global English-speaking business and potentially Japanese-speaking local operations
