📋 Description

• Install, commission, upgrade, and decommission GE HealthCare imaging systems, including MRI, CT, X-Ray, and Ultrasound equipment • Perform preventative maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime, reliability, and operational performance • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, electrical, and networking issues using advanced diagnostic tools and service documentation • Carry out repairs, calibrations, modifications, and software updates in accordance with quality and safety standards • Provide technical guidance and user support to clinical and biomedical engineering teams • Accurately document service activities, maintenance records, and technical findings in designated service management systems • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely availability of critical components • Maintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements • Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and proactive issue resolution • Participate in an on-call rotation to support urgent customer needs when required • Continuously develop technical expertise through training and ongoing learning opportunities • Work directly at customer sites supporting healthcare providers across Ireland

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent technical experience • Previous experience servicing complex medical imaging systems or other advanced electro-mechanical equipment • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems • Understanding of networking concepts and healthcare IT environments, including DICOM and PACS • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills • Ability to work independently and effectively manage a field-based workload • Proficiency with technical documentation, diagnostic software, and service tools • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory • Ability to occasionally lift and move equipment as required • Preferred: Experience supporting MRI, CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, or other diagnostic imaging modalities • Preferred: Familiarity with GE HealthCare products and technologies • Preferred: Experience working within a regulated healthcare or medical device environment
