📋 Description

• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and MVPs to test emerging AI and learning technology opportunities • Develop technical solutions for rapid experimentation and validation before full development with the Digital Team • Support the technical development of AI-enabled learning experiences and instructor-facing tools • Collaborate with the Learning Technology & AI Innovation Lead to turn concepts and requirements into working solutions • Dedicate approximately 50% of capacity to Product Team initiatives accelerating curriculum development • Build tools, automations, and AI-enabled workflows to improve curriculum design and maintenance • Experiment with AI approaches for content creation, review, adaptation, and localization • Collaborate with Product colleagues to transform ideas into practical technical solutions • Develop and implement enhancements to AI-enabled learning tools • Build and maintain integrations between AI tools, Canvas, and other learning platforms • Configure, optimize, and maintain third-party systems, automations, and workflows • Troubleshoot technical issues and improve reliability, usability, and performance • Support the ongoing evolution of Generation's AI Learning Layer • Support technical implementation of AI pilots and new learning technology initiatives • Work with the Digital Team on testing, integration, deployment, and refinement • Create automations to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort • Support data collection and reporting solutions for evidence-based decision making

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience developing technical solutions, automations, integrations, or software-enabled products • Experience building prototypes, MVPs, proofs of concept, or technical experiments • Experience working with APIs, authentication methods, databases, and system integrations • Experience configuring and integrating third-party platforms, AI tools, and SaaS products • Experience working with AI-enabled tools, LLMs, automation platforms, or machine learning applications • Experience translating business or learning requirements into technical solutions • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in fast-moving, experimental environments • Working hours that overlap with CET by at least 4 hours • Fluency in English • Strongly preferred: Experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar technical languages • Strongly preferred: Experience with Canvas integrations or learning technology ecosystems • Strongly preferred: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud • Strongly preferred: Experience building AI-enabled applications or LLM-based solutions • Strongly preferred: Understanding of teaching, learning, instructional design, or educational technology • Strongly preferred: Experience supporting product-development or curriculum-development initiatives • English resume required
