âą Build and maintain the end-to-end asset pipeline from ingestion through validated output âą Design agent-driven nodes that generate input content and make decisions inside the graph, with structured outputs, guardrails, and fallbacks âą Develop automated processing stages for mesh repair, retopology, decimation, LODs, UV unwrapping, texel density normalization, and collision proxy generation âą Derive physical properties including mass, inertia, contact parameters, and articulation setup âą Convert materials to PBR, process textures, bake assets, and manage color so assets render correctly in Nyx âą Define and enforce asset standards for units, orientation, pivots, naming, and provenance âą Build validators that reject noncompliant assets before they reach the library âą Scale the pipeline to large batch runs using caching, versioning, and selective reprocessing âą Build physics stability harnesses, render smoke tests, automated evaluation of generated content, and reprocessing comparisons âą Collaborate with rendering, physics, research, and other stakeholders on sim-ready requirements âą Own the technical design and implementation and challenge plans where needed
âą 5+ years building content or asset pipelines in games, VFX, simulation, or 3D tooling, with ownership of a pipeline in production âą Deep knowledge of 3D asset formats: USD, glTF, FBX, OBJ, URDF, and MJCF âą Strong Python and C++ skills where processing needs to be fast âą Hands-on mesh processing expertise: remeshing, decimation, UV generation, repair operations, and convex decomposition âą Solid command of PBR material authoring, texture baking, and color spaces âą Experience driving DCC tools headlessly, including Blender, Houdini, and Maya âą Experience building batch or distributed job systems âą Practical experience putting LLM or agent calls into production systems, including prompting, tool use, structured output, cost and latency control, and handling non-determinism âą Understanding of visual versus collision geometry, mass properties, contact behavior, and numerical stability in simulators âą Experience processing generative or reconstruction-based 3D outputs and evaluating them automatically (nice to have) âą Experience with agent frameworks, orchestration, and evaluation tooling (nice to have) âą OpenUSD at scale, including composition, layering, and MaterialX (nice to have) âą Semantic annotation and dataset curation at volume (nice to have) âą Exposure to simulation stacks such as MuJoCo or Isaac Sim (nice to have)
