📋 Description

• Manage the buying process for a given set of goods according to GE Vernova corporate standards and sourcing policy • Interface between suppliers and the entity regarding specifications and budgets • Manage supplier relationships for purchase order execution • Execute standard enabling activities and provide advice within policy and work routines • Manage problems and schedule changes • Update the ERP system • Resolve issues requiring knowledge and judgment within established procedures • Consult senior team members on issues outside defined policy or parameters • Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customers and GE Vernova

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college combined with relevant work experience, preferably in Sourcing & Buying-Procurement • Relevant work experience in Sourcing & Buying-Procurement preferred • Good understanding of key business drivers from a corporate/matrix work environment • Very good written and oral English skills • Very good interpersonal and communication skills • Self-driven personality • Good understanding of how the work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
