📋 Description

• Manage the buying process for a given set of goods according to GE Vernova corporate standards and sourcing policy • Interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets • Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution • Focus on execution of standard enabling activities / provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline • Manage problems and schedule changes • Update ERP system • Resolve issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures • Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy / parameters • Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE Vernova • Support the supply chain and purchasing function in delivering components for projects and contributing to the Green Energy transition

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college combined with relevant work experience, preferable in the Sourcing & Buying-Procurement • Good understanding of key business drivers from a corporate/matrix work environment to accomplish own work • Very good written and oral English skills • Very good interpersonal and communication skills • Self-driven personality • Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
