📋 Description

• Implement and enhance the instrumentation of metrics, structured logs, and distributed traces across applications and infrastructure. • Contribute to the visibility and monitoring of production environments. • Manage and improve Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions. • Support the identification of performance bottlenecks and application optimization opportunities. • Support the implementation and tracking of SLIs, SLOs, and reliability metrics. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of system stability. • Monitor and manage incidents. • Participate in root cause analyses (RCAs) and propose preventive actions. • Develop automations for infrastructure monitoring, observability, and operations. • Reduce manual activities and increase operational efficiency. • Work closely with Data Engineering, Backend, and Platform teams. • Contribute to the monitoring and support of applications, APIs, and pipelines running in AWS environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Mid- to Senior-level professional working with DevOps/AWS. • Hands-on experience using Datadog to create and maintain dashboards and monitors, write log queries, and track application and infrastructure metrics. • Knowledge of and experience with AWS services for modern applications and distributed environments. • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably EKS, including monitoring and analysis of containerized workloads. • Experience developing scripts and automations for operational and monitoring activities. • Knowledge of incident management, observability, availability, SLIs, SLOs, and reliability best practices. • Understanding of high availability, scalability, and resilience concepts in modern architectures. • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (a plus). • Knowledge of observability applied to data pipelines, such as Airflow, Spark, or similar technologies (a plus). • Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and security event monitoring (a plus). • AWS, Kubernetes, or Datadog certifications (a plus). • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (a plus). • Strong problem-solving skills. • Ability and comfort working independently and managing your own time.
