📋 Description

• Work across credit origination and credit product initiatives • Build platforms that originate and process credit transactions for major partners • Technically lead initiatives spanning multiple services, from solution design through production monitoring • Design critical integrations with traceability, idempotency, and reconciliation • Maintain the team’s code review capabilities, treating code review as a deliverable • Deliberately address technical debt by identifying costs and proposing remediation plans • Turn incidents into structural fixes • Raise developers’ skill levels through pairing, reviews, and clearly explained decisions • Build high-performance, consistent, and secure microservices and origination components • Provide production support by monitoring operations and taking ownership of urgent diagnosis and remediation cases

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience with Java and Spring supporting transactional systems in production • Service architecture: responsibility boundaries, synchronous and asynchronous communication, eventual consistency, and idempotency • Integrations with unstable third-party systems, including retries, reconciliation, and audit trails • Messaging with delivery guarantees (SQS, SNS, Kafka, or equivalent) • Production experience with AWS, including an understanding of costs, service limits, and failure modes • In-depth knowledge of relational databases: modeling, indexing, transactions, and zero-downtime migrations • Hands-on code review experience • English proficiency for technical reading and vendor interaction • Extensive software development experience, including work with mission-critical transactional systems • Practical mastery of Clean Code, SOLID, Design Patterns, and Clean Architecture, with a testing and TDD culture • Design and operation of small, independent microservices with versioned OpenAPI contracts • Ability to quickly and methodically diagnose and resolve critical production incidents • AI-assisted development, with proficiency in Cursor, Gemini, Claude Code, skills, commands, workflows, agent teams, and agent harnesses • Preferred: experience with credit, payroll-deducted loans, FGTS, payment methods, or capital markets • Preferred: Terraform and CI/CD pipelines • Preferred: experience defining observability strategies • Preferred: experience serving as a technical reference for a small team, without a management title • Preferred: experience with regulatory requirements (Central Bank of Brazil, LGPD, and audits) • Preferred: Python for internal tooling
