📋 Description

• Independently review, code, and post incoming invoices in DATEV • Maintain the accounts payable master data with confidence and accuracy • Allocate incoming invoices to cost centers and departments • Regularly post bank and credit card transactions • Perform systematic account and bank reconciliations • Identify and resolve discrepancies • Reconcile intercompany charges and balances with the entities involved • Process intercompany transactions • Support accounts payable-related closing activities • Reconcile accounts and complete the accounts receivable closing process • Prepare provisions and accruals • Work independently with DATEV and finance tools • Help shape process improvements and enhance finance operations

🎯 Requirements

• Completed training as a tax clerk (all genders) or an equivalent qualification in accounting • At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable • Confident day-to-day use of DATEV or comparable accounting software • Good understanding of basic tax principles • Experience working in multi-company environments • Enjoyment of digital tools and a strong affinity for IT • Structured and methodical approach to work • German at C1 level, enabling confident written communication • Good English skills (at least B2 level) • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, including under pressure • Ability to work independently without constant guidance • Openness to new tools and processes • Solution-oriented approach to work • Clear, direct, and respectful communication with colleagues • Resident in Germany and legally authorized to live and work in Germany
