📋 Description

• Direct UX research activities by creating and executing research plans • Deliver key insights that support company strategy • Conduct discovery research and validate solutions with product, engineering, and UX design partners • Partner with other researchers to increase user awareness and promote research best practices • Identify strategic opportunities and lead initiatives toward outcomes • Plan, conduct, and communicate impact-focused research studies • Understand user behavior, needs, problems, use cases, and workflows • Support the GoTo Resolve product team by researching user outcomes, problems, needs, and mental models • Improve research participant recruiting processes and channels in collaboration with Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Lifecycle Marketing • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of users and products in a research repository • Keep the research repository current with product changes and supported use cases • Analyze the competitive landscape to inform research direction, disruption opportunities, and innovation • Build workflows that automate routine research steps using AI

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience leading research in senior roles • Experience working in a lean, agile, delivery-driven environment • Ability to create research plans and deliver key insights • Ability to select appropriate research methodologies according to team timelines • Experience with user interviews, Jobs to Be Done (JTBD), persona definition, usability testing, and user-testing methodologies • Experience building and facilitating workshops and presentations for stakeholders and broader audiences • Strong problem-solving skills • Willingness to innovate • Strong self-governing abilities • Ability to incorporate AI into UX research processes • Excellent knowledge of qualitative research best practices and approaches • Understanding of quantitative research • Research experience in B2B settings • Understanding customer needs and gathering feedback from admins, vendors, and managed service providers • Ability to build AI-enabled workflows for routine research steps
