📋 Description
• Provide experienced veterinary nursing support across multiple clinic environments • Assist veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures • Prepare patients for surgery and assist in theatre • Monitor anaesthesia and support post-operative recovery • Administer medications and treatments • Collect samples and perform diagnostic testing • Provide hospital and inpatient care • Assist with emergency and urgent care cases when required • Maintain patient records and treatment plans • Provide exceptional client communication and education • Support reception and administrative duties when needed • Maintain hygiene, infection control, and clinical standards throughout the clinic • Support clinics during periods of leave, high demand, and additional staffing requirements
🎯 Requirements
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) • 2–3+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experience • Confidence across medical, surgical, and hospital nursing • Ability to work independently and use initiative • Ability to adapt quickly to unfamiliar clinic environments • Excellent anaesthetic monitoring skills • Strong communication and customer service skills • Organised, reliable, and professional • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of teams • Current driver's licence and reliable transport • Willingness to travel between clinics throughout the Brisbane West Region
