• Lead execution of Environmental, Health & Safety programs and initiatives across an assigned region • Provide direct EHS support to manufacturing and operational facilities through site visits, assessments, audits, and leadership engagement • Partner with facility and regional leadership to improve EHS performance and safety culture • Conduct EHS reviews of capital projects, equipment installations, process modifications, and operational changes • Support project approval reviews, factory acceptance tests, commissioning, startup reviews, and operational readiness assessments • Respond to significant incidents and high-risk events, including investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification • Provide technical guidance and coaching on regulatory requirements, hazard recognition, risk management, and EHS best practices • Support corporate, regional, and facility-level EHS initiatives, programs, campaigns, and improvement projects • Identify compliance risks and develop corrective actions for audit findings, incidents, inspections, and regulatory requirements • Review EHS performance data, leading indicators, and risk metrics to prioritize improvement opportunities • Support regulatory inspections, customer audits, and external engagements • Facilitate sharing of lessons learned and leading practices across facilities • Drive execution of the regional and global EHS roadmap through actionable plans and measurable results • Deploy standards, management systems, governance processes, and performance expectations across the region • Standardize EHS processes, tools, and practices • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Human Resources, and Supply Chain teams • Develop and improve EHS standards, procedures, guidance documents, and management system requirements • Coach and develop facility EHS resources and operational leaders • Monitor emerging regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 10 or more years of progressive EHS experience within manufacturing, industrial, packaging, or related operational environments • Experience supporting multiple facilities, business units, or geographic locations within a regional or multi-site organization • Experience leading incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, compliance initiatives, and operational improvement efforts • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and risk management principles applicable to manufacturing and industrial operations • Ability to identify operational risks and implement practical solutions that improve safety performance and regulatory compliance • Understanding of incident investigation methodologies, root cause analysis, corrective action management, and continuous improvement practices • Knowledge of machine safety, contractor safety, energy control, risk assessments, and operational hazard control strategies • Ability to evaluate capital projects, equipment installations, and process changes for EHS risks and compliance considerations • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to leverage data and leading indicators • Ability to influence leaders and colleagues across all organizational levels • Strong coaching, facilitation, and leadership skills • Working knowledge of EHS management systems, governance frameworks, auditing processes, and performance measurement programs • Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on operational support in a fast-paced, multi-site environment • Capability to drive standardization, best practice sharing, and organizational learning across multiple facilities • Strong project management and organizational skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, EHS information systems, reporting platforms, and data analysis tools • Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, ISO Lead Auditor, or equivalent are preferred
