📋 Description

• Lead discovery, roadmap development, and execution for a new fraud prevention platform • Define the platform’s vision, tactical and strategic roadmap, and delivery milestones • Lead the decoupling and gradual migration from legacy systems to a microservices- and event-driven architecture • Build bridges and foster trust-based partnerships with Business, Fraud Prevention Operations, Credit, Commercial Channels, and Compliance • Translate architectural complexity into tangible business value • Develop narratives around the new architecture, manage expectations, and report risks and dependencies in executive forums • Establish and track product and operational efficiency metrics, including loss rate, false-positive rate, transaction analysis latency, risk engine SLAs, and system stability • Collaborate with the Tech Lead, Architecture, and Data Science teams to integrate predictive Machine Learning models and business rules • Apply continuous discovery, structure hypotheses, define MVPs, and refine API contracts

🎯 Requirements

• Experience across the full lifecycle of complex digital products, with a focus on transaction platforms, technology infrastructure, payments, credit, or risk and fraud • Hands-on experience leading complex architectural transitions, including monolith decoupling, microservices, messaging, and APIs • Strong negotiation, active listening, and influence-without-authority skills • Ability to synthesize engineering and data discussions for non-technical decision-makers • Familiarity with financial and analytical fraud prevention metrics, including conversion versus risk, transaction churn, false positives, and chargebacks • Resilience and autonomy to structure ambiguous problems and make strategic decisions with incomplete information • Educational background or professional experience at the intersection of Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related fields • Previous experience in fraud prevention, including rule engines and real-time integration of statistical models and ML models • Preferred: Knowledge of large-scale omnichannel ecosystems, such as retail, franchising, e-commerce, or high-volume fintechs
