📋 Description

• Design end-to-end, production-ready data architectures and pipelines using Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture • Troubleshoot and tune large-scale Spark jobs • Design unified data and AI governance models • Configure and work with cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP • Develop data solutions using advanced SQL and Python or Scala • Monitor Databricks Units, right-size clusters, and optimize performance and cloud costs • Potentially integrate GenAI and MLflow, CI/CD and DevOps workflows, streaming data, data warehousing, and BI tools

🎯 Requirements

• Expertise in designing end-to-end data architectures using Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers • Deep understanding of Databricks and Spark internals and distributed computing • Ability to troubleshoot and tune large-scale Spark jobs using caching, partitioning, and broadcast joins • Understanding of Delta Lake ACID transactions, schema enforcement, time travel, and Z-ordering • Proven ability to design unified governance models for data and AI assets, including RBAC, row-level security, column-level security, and data lineage • Strong grasp of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud ecosystems, including VNet setups and IAM roles • Advanced SQL skills and fluency in Python or Scala • Ability to monitor DBUs, right-size serverless and multi-node clusters, and optimize cloud costs • Advanced conversational English and Spanish; both essential and evaluated • Candidates residing in Mexico must be currently residing in Mexico • Foreigners residing in Mexico must have a valid INE, CURP, NSS, and RFC • Must have RFC with homoclave and current Constancia de Situación Fiscal issued by Mexico's SAT
