• Maintain and repair Halter’s on-farm hardware infrastructure • Diagnose hardware issues and provide feedback to relevant teams • Repair and upgrade infrastructure • Deliver towers and collars as needed • Provide on-site support during farm deployments and troubleshoot installations • Participate in the global on-call roster for tower-related incidents • Collaborate with hardware, product, customer success, and other Halter teams • Resolve technical challenges with minimal disruption to farm operations • Collect, interpret, and analyze hardware data • Optimize processes and extract actionable operational insights • Develop and manage a maintenance system for the New Zealand market • Travel throughout the South Island and across New Zealand • Support customers and maintain a feedback loop between the field and Auckland headquarters
• Practical, hands-on experience with tools, electrical work, construction, networking, or equipment fitting • Proactive, resourceful approach to solving challenges • Ability to manage time independently and complete tasks on schedule • Strong collaboration skills across different locations • Dedication to high-quality service and infrastructure reliability • Willingness to travel frequently, often 3–4 days on the road per week and up to 3 nights away from home per week • Full, clean driver's licence • Eligibility to work in New Zealand • Agriculture experience is preferred but not mandatory
