📋 Description

• Maintain and repair Halter’s on-farm hardware infrastructure • Diagnose hardware issues and provide feedback to relevant teams • Repair and upgrade infrastructure, and deliver towers and collars as needed • Support on-farm deployments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful installations • Participate in the global on-call roster for tower-related incidents • Collaborate with hardware, product, customer success, and other Halter teams • Resolve technical challenges promptly to minimize disruption to farm operations • Collect, interpret, and analyze hardware data to optimize processes and inform decisions • Develop and manage a maintenance system for the New Zealand market • Travel throughout the North Island and occasionally across New Zealand • Provide exceptional service and support to customers

🎯 Requirements

• Palmerston North based with regular New Zealand travel • Practical, hands-on experience with tools, electrical work, construction, networking, or equipment fitting is required • Proactive, resourceful, go-getter attitude • Ability to manage time independently and complete tasks on schedule • Strong collaboration skills across different locations • Commitment to high-quality service and infrastructure reliability • Willingness to travel spontaneously and as planned, potentially 3–4 days on the road per week and up to 3 nights away from home per week • Full, clean driver's licence • Eligibility to work in New Zealand • Agriculture experience is preferred but not mandatory
