📋 Description

• Own the monthly close calendar across all nine entities and deliver a hard close within the agreed timeframe • Own consolidation, intercompany eliminations, foreign-currency translation, and shared-services allocation • Deliver the recurring group reporting suite, including month-end reporting, budget-versus-actual and cash-burn reporting, 13-week cash forecast, entity trends, payroll analysis, and owner-draw and professional-fees analyses • Ensure standalone entity packages agree to the consolidated result and explicitly flag missing entities or source data • Reconcile intercompany due-to/from accounts across Canadian, U.S., and Barbados entities and resolve legacy differences and sign-convention errors • Maintain and substantiate shareholder loans, owner draws, and related-party balances with audit trails • Drive equity to a substantiated position and maintain balance-sheet substantiation files for every entity • Own annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, driver-based operating forecasts, and entity-level KPI models • Own the Group liquidity view and escalate funding requirements to the CFO • Deliver variance analysis with causes and recommended actions • Track EBITDA-margin improvement targets by entity and report monthly progress • Manage, review, and develop the Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant • Partner with the Canada-based Controller using documented handoffs, service standards, and early escalation • Review work before it reaches the CFO and ensure deliverables are complete • Deputise for the CFO on operational finance matters and dealings with operating-company management • Close open reporting items and implement foreign-exchange, intercompany, shared-services, and related control policies

🎯 Requirements

• Philippine CPA, or equivalent professional designation (CPA, ACCA) in good standing • Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience • At least 4 years managing a team • Demonstrated ownership of multi-entity consolidation with intercompany eliminations and foreign-currency translation • Direct experience reporting to or working alongside a CFO or Financial Controller in a North American reporting environment • Experience delivering to deadlines in a split or distributed finance function across locations or reporting lines • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP or Canadian ASPE/IFRS • Advanced Excel skills, including complex model construction, large data sets, links across workbooks, and auditable models • Experience preparing audit workpapers and dealing directly with external auditors • Fluent written and spoken English (CEFR C1 or above) • Demonstrated history of working a permanent U.S. Eastern Time schedule • Reliable primary internet connection of at least 25 Mbps with documented backup connection • Backup power arrangement sufficient to complete a working shift • Quiet, private workspace suitable for confidential calls • Two-factor authentication on all Group systems • Full-disk encryption and current endpoint protection • Signed confidentiality and intellectual-property assignment terms • Submit a CV in English and a maximum one-page covering note • Complete a timed practical Excel exercise and live written-English task if shortlisted • Review draft entity financials and present findings verbally to the CFO at final stage
