📋 Description

• Design and own the overall cloud architecture, including infrastructure topology, account/subscription structure, networking, and governance models • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures • Define and enforce security best practices covering identity and access management, network segmentation, encryption, and data protection • Establish cost governance practices with the FinOps Manager to monitor, forecast, and optimize cloud spend • Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code and automation practices • Partner with engineering, operations, software developer, and security teams to align infrastructure decisions with product and business goals • Support Software R&D and Software development teams in building robust and scalable SaaS and PaaS solutions • Define architecture standards, conduct design reviews, and ensure consistency across teams and projects • Guide and mentor engineers on cloud architecture principles and best practices • Evaluate new cloud services, tools, and industry trends • Contribute to disaster recovery planning, high-availability design, and incident response processes

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering or a related senior technical role • Proven track record designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise-grade cloud solutions • Primary experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms; AWS experience is beneficial • Strong understanding of cloud security principles: IAM, encryption, network security, and zero-trust architecture • Familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to your industry, such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Bicep/ARM • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes • Scripting/programming skills, such as Python, Go or similar, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, VPCs/VNets, load balancing, and DNS • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Fluent in English (business level)
