📋 Description

• Enter Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately into the accounting system • Process invoices, vendor bills, customer payments, and credit memos • Assist with invoice matching and supporting documentation • Maintain organized electronic accounting records and filing systems • Update spreadsheets and reconcile transaction listings with supporting documents • Assist with basic bank and account reconciliations by preparing supporting information • Review transactions for completeness and flag missing or inconsistent information • Support month-end activities by preparing schedules and gathering required documentation • Communicate with U.S. team members in English and Mexican stakeholders in Spanish regarding routine accounting matters • Follow established accounting procedures and maintain accuracy while working within the client's remote desktop environment • Perform other administrative and data entry tasks to support the finance team

🎯 Requirements

• 2 - 5 years of experience as accounting assistant, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or accounting data entry role • Professional working proficiency in both English and Spanish • Experience entering accounting transactions with strong attention to detail • Familiarity with Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable processes • Basic understanding of accounting principles • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (sorting, filtering, formulas, and data organization) • Strong organizational skills and ability to work accurately with large volumes of data • Experience supporting a U.S.-based accounting or finance team • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or another accounting/ERP system • Experience working through remote desktop software • Dual-monitor home office setup • Previous experience working as a long-term remote contractor
